Our Name
One might ask, but why would a crow be neon? On the contrary, we like to ask, if a crow could, why wouldn’t a crow be neon?
Neon Crow is a nod to our founders’ hometowns and a rededication to the Vancouver area. Moreover, it symbolizes our design ideals: bright and eye-catching, sleek and to the point, with a little bit of funk thrown in. We specialize in sleek, electrifying imagery that catches the eye and ignites the imagination; as a result, our designs get your message across.
Similarly, neon lights have been an art form steeped in advertising. They draw the eye, visually displaying their message for all who can see. Likewise, our design aesthetic follows this message; we want viewers to remember our creations and crucially, to move them.
History of Neon Crow
Neon Crow Media is a small, woman-led business founded in 2020.
Our creative team has over 13 years experience in the field, primarily in the digital sphere. We are adept at making stunning imagery, both static and moving and adapting it to clients’ varied needs. We have worked in many fields within motion graphics from cartoon series production to live performances. Additionally, we have worked in advertising, corporate events, the medical field, and more.
We utilize the Adobe suite, Procreate, Trapcode, and a whole slew of other digital software involved in motion graphics. Our artists are also trained in 3D software such as Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, Modo, Nuke, and others.
We are driven by fantastic imagery, however our first priority is storytelling. We grew up telling stories to illustrate the ideas in our minds. Ultimately, storytelling is how humans best connect with one another. Using stories as our guiding principle produces a synergy that resonates through the whole campaign, creating a compelling narrative communicating the message behind the story.
We believe that every client’s needs are unique. Consequently, we dedicate much of our development time to assessing and delivering on those needs. No two projects will ever be alike because the people and needs involved will be different.
